LaunchPad Full Stack Web Developer Program

Program summary

Program Overview

The LaunchPad by Vog Full Stack Web Developer Program course will be an intermediate look at the skills, languages, and methodologies companies are looking for. Vog takes industry feedback and adapts it into digestible courses to ensure industry compliance and familiar habits when transitioning into the workplace. LaunchPad’s Front End course will be covering languages such as JS frameworks, modern CMS systems, best Git practice, and personal management of both time and organization to ensure your projects are met on time and on budget (see what you will learn).

Measuring Success

Throughout each module of learning, LaunchPad will be defining unit testing to ensure your success is being achieved, and personalize our approach with you to identify any difficulties. During the final weeks of the 16-week program, you will apply the learned skills to a final project and define the specialty that fits in with your employer of choice.

Your Career

In your career as a full stack web developer, you will typically work on front end related projects including Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue, WordPress/PHP CMS systems, and applying a basic understanding of API calls and how your system works with the back end. Practicing regular Git processes, understanding common text editors (Visual Studio), and keeping up with modern libraries/frameworks will also be a regular practice while employed as a front end developer. You will be expected to build, create and maintain the entire front-facing process of any website or application, while expected to know and understand the difference between front end issues and back end issues.
