Your Career

Back end development languages handle the ‘behind-the-scenes’ functionality of web applications. It’s code that connects the web to a database, manages user connections, and powers the web application itself by optimizing applications for speed and efficiency.
In your career as a back end developer, you will typically work on back end related projects including Entity Framework, NoSql Databases, Relational Databases, RESTful APIs, Authentication/OAuth and more. Back end developers play a critical role in web development teams and have to work hand-in-hand with front end developers creating the most efficient solutions to make the web app function properly.
