Throughout each module of learning, Launchpad will be defining unit testing to ensure your success is being achieved, and personalize our approach with you to identify any difficulties. During the final weeks of the 16-week program, you will apply the learned skills to a final project and define the specialty that fits in with your employer of choice.
Back end development languages handle the ‘behind-the-scenes’ functionality of web applications. It’s code that connects the web to a database, manages user connections, and powers the web application itself by optimizing applications for speed and efficiency.
In your career as a back end developer, you will typically work on back end related projects including Entity Framework, NoSql Databases, Relational Databases, RESTful Api, Authentication/OAuth and more. Back end developers play a critical role in web development teams and have to work hand-in-hand with front end developers creating the most efficient solutions to make the web app function properly.
